ETANA SUPPORTS THE LAUNCH OF KOMUNITAS HARAPAN INDONESIA TO MARK WORLD LUNG CANCER DAY 2026

Jakarta, 20 August 2026 - PT Etana Biotechnologies Indonesia (Etana) lends its support to the launch of Komunitas Harapan Indonesia, held in conjunction with the commemoration of World Lung Cancer Day 2026. The launch is convened alongside a Health Talk session themed “Spread Hope”, organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Oncology Association (Perhimpunan Onkologi Indonesia/POI) and Srikandi Indonesia. The event is attended by Nathan Tirtana, President Director of Etana; Evie Wahyudi, Chairperson of Komunitas Harapan Indonesia; Dr. dr. Cosphiadi Irawan, Sp.PD-KHOM, FINASIM, Chairperson of the Central Board of the Indonesian Oncology Association; and Yanti, Chairperson of Srikandi Indonesia.

This support positions Etana in a role that extends beyond product development, namely the strengthening of the patient support ecosystem. Komunitas Harapan Indonesia serves as a space in which cancer fighters, survivors, caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals may share experiences, obtain trusted information and education, and provide mutual support throughout the cancer journey.

He further advises the public to consult a physician should symptoms persist for more than three weeks.
